Duodenal Resection is a surgical procedure in which a damaged or diseased part of the duodenum is removed. The duodenum is the first section of the small intestine that connects to the stomach and helps in digestion. This surgery is usually performed to treat tumors, severe ulcers, or injuries affecting the duodenum.

During this procedure, the patient is placed under general anesthesia and the abdominal area is prepared using sterile techniques.
